June 4, 2020: The paper „Investigation of airflow field in the upper airway under unsteady respiration pattern using large eddy simulation method“ is accepted for publication by Respiratory Physiology & Neurobiology.

May 5, 2020: Dr. Ge was appointed as a session organizer of 2020 ASME Internal Combustion Engine Division Fall Technical Conference.

April 10, 2020: Dr. Ge was appointed as a reviewer of 2020 DOE Vehicle Technology Office Annual Merit Review Conference.

March 7, 2020: The paper „Further study on wall film effects and flame quenching under engine thermodynamic conditions“ is accepted for publication by Combustion and Flame.

March 1, 2020: The paper „Engine Cylinder Head Thermal Mechanical Fatigue Evaluation Technology and Platform Application“ is accepted for publication by SAE International Journal of Engines.

January 6, 2020: Two SAE papers are accepted for publication and presentation at the SAE World Congress. Their titles are: „A Two-Layer Soot Model for Hydrocarbon Fuel Combustion“ and „Optimization of Piston-Ring System for Reducing Lube Oil Consumption by CAE Approach“.

Dr. Haiwen Ge has been appointed as one of the Session Organizers of the SAE International Powertrains, Fuels & Lubricants Meeting, which will be held at Krakow Poland, Sep.22-24 2020. https://www.sae.org/attend/ipfl  

The paper titled "Large eddy simulation of flame propagation during the ignition process in an annular multiple-injector combustor" has been accepted for publication in Fuel. this is a collaboration between Zhejiang University and University of Science and Technology of China.
